Jonathan Taylor Thomas

Jonathan Taylor Thomas, also known as JTT, was a popular actor and voice actor in the 1990s and early 2000s. He was born on September 8, 1981, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Thomas first gained widespread fame in the role of middle child Randy Taylor on the hit ABC sitcom “Home Improvement,” which aired from 1991 to 1999. He also provided the voice of young Simba in the 1994 Disney film “The Lion King” and appeared in a number of other films and television shows throughout his career.

Thomas began acting at a young age, landing his first role as an extra in a commercial at the age of 8. He made his film debut in 1991’s “Wild America,” playing the younger version of the film’s protagonist, Marshall Stouffer. That same year, he was cast as Randy Taylor on “Home Improvement,” which quickly became one of the most popular shows on television. Thomas played the role for eight seasons, from 1991 to 1999.

In addition to his work on “Home Improvement,” Thomas also appeared in a number of films throughout the 1990s. He also provided the voice of young Kevin Arnold on the “The Wonder Years” reunion special, “Still Standin’,” which aired on ABC in 2013.

In addition to his acting career, Thomas is also known for his philanthropic work. He has supported a number of charitable organizations, including the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
